Morning drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi for 2 hours to take train at Train Station in city of Kanchanaburi at 10.00 AM to Nam Tok Train Station. The two-hour journey along Thailand–Burma Death Railway is one of Thailand’s most scenic and most popular train rides. It’s the history that makes the ride so special and worth visiting the Thailand–Burma Railway. Then, get off the train and transfer to the Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum, which provides an equally illuminating introduction to the railway’s history. Afternoon, transfer to hotel for a rest. In the morning, visit the Erawan Waterfall which lies fifty kilometers toward the northwest of Kanchanaburi. If you are a tad an adventurer, stroll around to spot elephants, gibbons, and beware, king cobras. Venture into Pra That Cave to enjoy its four spacious rooms and study its age-old stalagmites and stalactites. After that, drive north to Ayutthaya. Visit Wat Mahatat where you will be amused by the vision of a Buddha head being supported by the roots of a growing tree. Overnight at hotel in Ayuthaya.
Drive from Ayutthaya to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival, meet our driver and transfer to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at hotel in Chiang Mai.
Visit Hmong Tribal Village or Doi Pui at 1,685 meters above sea level. Then depart for Bhubing Rajanives Palace, was built in 1961 to accommodate the royal family during state visits to Chiang Mai. Afternoon, Wat Chedi Luang, ruined Lanna-style chedi (built in 1441). You can view a jade replica, given as a gift from the Thai king in 1995 to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the chedi.
